10 on Tuesday/Where were you?!

Still bursting with excitement about the news...
I WISH I could share!!

I had a fundraiser last night and Buffalo Wild Wings.
I'm POOPED today, but made awesome donations and had a great turnout!
I pulled out the boots last night!
First time wearing these... but makes me sad to pack up my heels!!
Hey Fall Fashionistas...
What's "in" for fall fashions?
Are we still doing leggins?
Sweater dresses?
Help a sista out!
I mentioned yesterday I was doing something for the local firemen in my town.
Well- the end result!
6 boxes of cookie mix for way too many cookies to count!!
2 boxes of brownies!

And some "death by chocolate"
I LOVED doing this for them! It warmed my heart to see these guys faces when I walked up with treats!
They so deserve much more than a few cookies, but knowing I could do something made me so happy!
I will repeat this every year and my even hit them up a few times more!!
Saturday is 7 weeks til I run the half marathon!!
Oy Vey! Scared!!!
My mom did ask last night if I wanted her to come... ummm YES!!
She's never been to a race of mine, so I'm super excited!! :-)
God is so good!
He truly provides all that is needed!
I am so thankful to be able to call on Him and know He will be there!
His answers are always right... even if it's not what I thought I wanted!!
I am currently working on a 30 before 30 blog.
30 things I would like to do before I turn 30. I have 30 things, but I'm not sure I want to commit to them all.
If you've done this, what do you recommend??
I'm at a plateau!!
A plateau in my weight loss. I know I need to kick my running in high gear to get over it.
Hopefully I can!
I'm in AWE!!
I got a $500 almost anonymous donation from a coworker of a friend for my charity!
WOW! People are amazing and again I say- God provides!!
Cooper and Christina- thank you thank you thank you!
You have been such big supporters!!
Where were you??

With today being the anniversary of 9/11 everyone is posting the "where were you" posts. So I thought I would to so I would never forget-- not that I will ever be able to!
It was a Tuesday and I was a Senior in high school.
I had been sick the day before and mom stayed home with me Tuesday. She was already up in the kitchen at the ironing board and when I came in the TV was on and she was in tears.
I had never heard of the Twin Towers before and didn't know about Terrorism, so I didn't know what I was seeing. I thought I still had a fever. When the second plane hit I realized that this was real. I grabbed some breakfast and got in the recliner to watch the horror unfold.

I am so thankful today to live in a country that stood up to terrorism head on.
Thankful for the men and woman that stand up every day to protect us and for those that have laid down their lives for us!
Thankful to a God protecting over us.
I continue to pray for our nation!!
Please do as well!!

3. Oooh, those are cute.
4. I'm no fashionsita so to ME, those are all still in. I wear what I want, you should too :)
5. Look at you, maybe you'll catch yourself a sexy fireman with those goodies. Go you!
8. I was going to do this but I hardly ever commit to something so opted against it. Good luck with yours.
9. You can do it! If anything, be happy that you havent gained. Glass half full kind of thinking is a good thing.
10. That's fantastic.

Thanks for linking up sweets!

WOW! Love all those treats you gave to the fireman, that is such a great thing to do.

Good luck on your half marathon, would this be your first one? and if so perhaps part of your 30 before 30 thing?

Have a great day!
