It's Monday... and I Feel Fine!

OK- truth be told... I feel WAY better than "fine"

Ecstatic, overjoyed, through the roof excited!

But... I can't say why just yet!

Let's just say things are moving fabulous in the life of my job and God gets all the glory for!!

I have been praying for this for a year now.

He said to wait, and here it is!!

Now, let me share with you my awesome weekend!!
Friday Night:
It was me and the debit card... I did a little damage! :-)
But wait... I know what you're thinking, let me explain!
I have ZERO work pants that fit... so I went exploring for a few for winter, now that it's getting colder!
I was able to find some- in some nice small sizes- for only $10 a piece!
Thank you Ross!!
I also picked up a few more workout clothes on clearance! Now's the time to buy the tanks I like to wear!!
When I came home I had some snuggle time:

It started bright and early, but not with a run this time!

With a fundraiser!!

We had our Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebees to raise money!

Once I was done shopping I had to go home and change for dinner and a going away party.

I love new clothes- esp when they are only $7!! :-)

Sunday:

Church with mom was fun as always, but after was when I really started to cook... literally!!

With 9/11 being tomorrow, we decided to do a little something for our local first responders.

BEST IDEA EVER!!

So I went to Bi-Lo, loaded up in groceries and got to work on some goodies!!

I'm REALLY excited about another treat I'm working on!

Mom and I took a midday break to head to small group at a church members house.

Yummy food+great people+good conversation=wonderful time!

I really love my church family! They have watched me grow up and I trust them all so much!

They really all love me unconditionally!!

After, it was back to the kitchen, but I'm not sharing any more goods until tomorrow!!

TGIF!!! What is it about Fridays that make me so happy?!?! Oh who am I kidding?? I'm always happy!!!   ~I dreamed we got a big donation for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last night. It's invading my dreams!! Please donate!!   ~I love Football Rivalries! It's so fun!!

~ I have such a shopping problem... this is not new!!

~I can fit into a youth jersey now and it fits like a woman's!

~I love my life! How often do I say this... but it's great!

There's nothing spectacular and it's not a big party... but I am blessed beyond measure!!

Praise the Lord!!

1.  My favorite grade in school was     probably Senior year. I had a blast! I was more in my element at SOA and had the best friends! I remember concerts, prom, getting in trouble! :-) All such fun!!  .

2.  My favorite teacher was   hmmm-so many teachers had an impact on me- but the name that comes to mind is my 4K teacher... Mrs. Wilson- she never forgot me! I loved her!! In college I also had a soft spot for my English prof- not because he was a hottie, but he was also there for me when my aunt passed!!    .

3.  The highest level of education I have completed is    college degree baby!! BS in Early Childhood Education .

4. School lunches for me were usually    made by moma! I even went thru a phase of taking cereal to school! LOL Until high school- I actually liked our school lunches!!  .

5. The amount of money you'd have to pay me to go back to high school would be  hmmm knowing what I know now?? I'd still need a hefty amount! I did love high school at SOA, but I love my life too much now to go back to that. Besides- everything I went thru, good and bad- made me who I am today! .

6. A few things that will always remind me of going back to school are:  football season starting, school supplies on sale at walmart, fall clothes  .

7.  The first day of school was always   fun... I was never too anxious b/c I missed my friends and knew after school I'd get to go get supplies. My binders had to match my books!!

Thanksgiving!! It's the time my family can all get together and see one another! SO many great memories!!2. If money weren't an issue, how many kids would you have?
As many as God wanted- but I'd say 4... let me get married and start with 1 first!!3. If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be and where would you put it?
Well I already have 3 and I'm planning my 4th and 5th. The next will be a gerber daisy with my aunt's name in a petal on my left hip after I complete my marathon!!4. What condiment is a must in your house?

I went for one that is reachable and one I can hold myself to!

8 pounds by my "surgiversary"- October 24.

My long term goal is to get to lose 28 more pounds.

Then I will be at a weight I'm happy with!

Like thrown over a guys shoulders, or jump on their back.

I can't get the mentality that I'm at a weight I can do this.
I was talking to my friend, Amy, about this this weekend and it's something I am really working on. I want to be able to be comfortable to be picked up, but I'm soooo scared!

I mean, I am, fall will be great... but I am sad to say goodbye to some of my summer wardrobe!

I know... I know... more reason to shop- but I've always had trouble dressing in fall.

Mine's the Steelers- but is it OK to still like them??

Here's the background. My ex was a huge Steelers fan and turned me onto them and they won a Superbowl while I was a fan. I loved Hines Ward (even tho he went and retired on me) and think Coach Tomlin is great.

Labor Day Weekend Recap!!

Hey Lovelies!

Happy Labor Day... or Happy Lay around and do nothing or shop til you drop day! :-)

I'm so glad to be off work.

I'm not sure what the rest of my day will include- but I'm sure I'll have fun!

This weekend was pretty low-key...

How I like it!

Friday started with a promo followed by picking up my new Gamecock dress!

YAY!!

Then this girl headed home to bed... I had a 6am run to prep for!!

Saturday started bright early...

No smiles that early...

Feeling much better once I got moving!!

Sweet babies letting me chill and nap after the early morning...

Repped my college T for the Chucktown Throwdown:

CSU vs. Citadel Football game... yeah, my alma mater lost!

Saturday night was dinner at a fancy restaurant downtown followed by some watching Auburn/Clemson game... but wow... what a game! Gonna be an interesting season!!

I also found out last week my sweet friend is having a girl...

Sunday mom flaked on church on me... slacker!

So I spent the day cleaning and doing laundry and loving on my bugs!!

Then we got all dressed up and headed downtown again for dinner at Magnolias for my aunt's birthday!

Then it was some "Hunger Games" time... sadly I passed out midway... the odd were not in my favor to stay awake! My bad!! :-P
