15 Day Challenge- Day 3

 

[Day 3]: Tell us about an article of clothing you're attached to.

Clothing is something I have started to LOVE! I mean- love love love! It's a lot easier to buy clothes when they are a smaller size.

That being said, I've had some major wardrobe changes within the last month- how could I not? Everything was falling off and I needed a reason to buy more!!

Thinking about that tho, for today's blog- I'd have to say I'm most deeply attached to my t-shirts. I can't get rid of them! They all hold stories. Every sorority shirt, gamecock shirt- even if they are too big or faded, I still have them. I'm actually working to make them into a big blanket!
(Slowly working- but the idea's there- if you have any tips for this girl who can't sew- let me know!)

Life is A-MA-ZING right now!
I'm still on a wedding high from this past weekend! Love doesn't even cover how much I ADORE my family!
This week is shaping up to be just as awesome! Today is my last day of work before my 5-Day-Staycation!! HELLO FUN!!

I have fun stuff planned every night- but beyond that- I just love my life!!
God has truly blessed me so!!

Friday was a half day at work for me and I spent my afternoon doing a little shopping!

I did pick up this outfit for a 4th of July Party! Lets see if I have the guts to wear it!!

Friday night, my fabulous family and I went to dinner at a fancy place in Summerville, then the cousins went out dancing! It was a Michael Jackson vs. Prince Tribute night- so that's all that was played all night! LOVED IT!!

Saturday was spent sleeping in and cleaning... more the sleeping than the cleaning! LOL

Saturday night- It was wedding time!!

After the wedding I stopped by VooDoo in WestAsh to wish my sweet friend and sorority sister a Happy Birthday!!

Sunday was a relaxing day by the pool with my family- with no photos snapped until I got home to see our "Moma-Duck" heading back to her babies!!

Any day now we'll have ducklings!!

15 Day Challenge

 WOW!! What a weekend!! I'm absolutely POOPED! I can't wait to share about all the fun I had this weekend... but today I thought I'd join in for the 15 Day Challenge over at The Love of Life!!

[Day 1]: List 15 fun facts about yourself. 

 

1) I'm an only child! My moms my best friend and my parents divorced when I was in my early 20s.

 

2) I am an animal lover! So much so that I will cry in a movie if an animal dies- every human in the world could go- but don't have an animal die!!

 

3) I love a bubble bath! I take them several times a week! I can't resist!

 

4) I am an optomist- 100%. I love to laugh, smile and look at the positive side of things!

 

5) I love a good romatic comedy! I collect movies- and those are the majority of the movies!

 

6) I wear my heart on my sleeve. I love hard and with all my heart!! It causes me at times to get hurt- but it makes me who I am.

 

7) Referring to the above- hurt me or most importantly- someone I love and you're dead to me!

 

8) I'm addicted to my iPhone, Facebook and self-pics.

 

9) I am loud and proud! I love my loud laugh and don't care how silly I sound!!

 

10) I had gastric bypass and have lost 90 pounds so far! I have never felt so wonderful!

 

11) I'm a little bit of a flirt! But only when I don't know I'm doing it- I have zero "game" when I try!

 

12) I have a new love for running!! It's such an aMAZing feeling!!

 

13) I have an early childhood education degree and work supporting the Navy. Oddly enough, I do use some of the skills I learned with children with my coworkers! :-)

 

14) It's harder than I thought it would be to think of 15 things about myself!!

 

15) My dream is to be married with kids and work in a daycare part time and stay at home mom the rest of the time!

Where would you go? Have you been there before? Who would go with you? What about it draws you in?

I have a couple! I don't travel very much so I'm building my vaca bucket list!
1) A cruise! I would love love love that! I'm pathetic I know b/c there's a cruise that leaves right from Chas- but that cost money and time off from work that this single girl don't have! Soon tho!!
2) Egypt!! I have no idea why! I just think it's beautiful!! I love the pyramids and writings on the walls and would love to go exploring!!
3) Australia!!! I must hold a Koala Bear while I'm there, as well as a monkey!! (If anyone would like to get me one of either as a pet- I'm open!)

Shopping!

I love shopping- I have a serious shopping problem!!

What do I shop for? Anything!! No, not really- I am not into buying stuff for my house- mostly b/c I have my house how I want it from shopping that category already! LOL

I'm a major fan of clothes and shoe shopping! I love shoes- love love love them!

Reading!

I love a good book! I can dive right in and get sucked into the end!! One of my resolutions was to read 12 in 12 in 2012 and GUESS WHAT-- I'm way past!! Stay tuned for a recap b/c I am way behind!!

Tanning!

I love being tan- it makes me feel thinner and prettier! All about perception right?!

Whether its beach or bed- I love that sun kissed glow!

Movies!

Oh how I love collecting movies! I have been more slack lately with shoe and clothes taking top priority- but there's some movies- like Breaking Dawn- I had to buy day 1!! I also love going to the movies, but that can be expensive... but I enjoy the treat!!

Running!

Yes- I did just type that... I love my workout time! It's my "me time" where no one can disturb me! I feel such accomplishment every mile I complete!!

Family and Friends!

I consider them a "hobby" if a hobby is time spent doing or with someone you love...

I love being with them! They are all so special to me!! I cannot wait for the exciting weekend I am about to have for my cousin's wedding! I love when we can all get together! YAY!!

Happy only two more days until the WEEKEND!!!

I'm doubling up and making my own post today. Linking with Shannon for "So What" Wednesday- but I can't make it negative and I enjoy my "So what... I'm Loving!"

• So what if it's going to be crazy busy... I'm loving that it's my cousin's wedding weekend!
  Events start tomorrow night! I feel sorry for my camera b/c it's going to be in picture overload! :-D
• So what if I don't have the ideal body... I'm loving my workout clothes! For the first time I feel like I look "good" in them and I enjoy wearing them!
• So what if it's gangsta-ghetto-hard core... I'm love my rap workout stations! The harder the beat, the faster I run! I'm totally OK with that!!
• So what if it's been tiring... I'm loving that I'm going to be able to take a half day Friday and hit the BEACH as part of the wedding weekend fun!
• So what if I dropped a pretty penny on my wardrobe choices... I'm loving the dresses for all three days! I can't wait to share!!
• So what if it's been a little hard to blog everyday... I'm loving the new followers and comments I'm getting!! Thanks for all the sweet comments!!

Twitter- I just don't get it- and don't use it! 

Pinterest- I get on when I'm bored and have a few boards- but nothing extensive

Facebook- OHEMGEE- I am pure addicted! I am not ashamed either! I'm forever commenting, checking in, adding pictures, posting comments, etc... I just can't help it! 

Instagram- I have this on my phone as well- but I just don't understand it! LOL I'll stick with my regular camera app

Google+- I have one of those too- but I never remember it- and never get on. I don't think I could handle that and FB!!

My favorite websites? Well for sure- that would be my Facebook! I LOVE keeping up with friends and family! (BTW- does anyone else think it's funny that Facebook is so acceptable now it's not considered spelled wrong?!)

I also frequent my email every day, but only b/c it's on my phone!

Pandora is another favorite b/c I am always music listening whether at work or at the gym. 

Of course my blog also b/c I love seeing the exciting goings on!!
